About Us

Morning Glory Minidonkey's raises minidonkeys that are registered with the American Donkey and Mule Society (ADMS). All of our donkeys are regularly vaccinated and wormed, and we trim their feet on a regular basis as well. We imprint all of our babies at birth. We strive to maintain the best possible care for all of our donkeys.

Our Barn Our donkey venture started in 2008. We visited Ravenwood Farm in Hartsville Indiana and decided to purchase our first donkey named Apollo. Apollo was trained to pull a cart and, as most donkeys was a very affectionate little guy that won our hearts. I remember Jerry Patterson of Ravenwood telling me "donkeys are like potato chips, you can't have just one".....and that is when one donkey evolved into two, three, and now 17.

Our yearling's are shown in halter classes all summer. I also begin training our donkeys to pull carts as soon as they are mature enough to handle that task. I train them to road drive, trail drive, and show when possible. Our House

Our farm is located in west central Ohio on 14 acres with approximately 6 acres of turnout pasture. Our amish built barn and our home were built back in 2001.

We love to show our donkeys in holiday parades and participate in carriage drive's with our carriage clubs. We now also have 2 wonderful carriages we use for parades.
